Espanyol have been really solid defensively so far and even Real Madrid’s star-studded side struggled to break them down at the weekend. Eibar are bidding to become the first visiting team to score at the RCDE Stadium this term and they may find that a tough task. At the other end, Espanyol have just enough quality to remain a threat and provide service for their main summer signing Borja Iglesias up top. His finishing prowess could be key in settling a game that is unlikely to produce many chances.

The Espanyol front-man came close to netting an equaliser at the Bernabeu at the weekend and has made a decent start to his career with the Barcelona club. He should be their main goal threat here.
