21:00 – Alaves vs Granada

AlavesGranada
Win Probability54%20%

It’s a meeting of two newly promoted teams in Vitoria with Alaves so far enjoying much the better season. Granada’s chances here aren’t helped by the suspension of Bryan Zaragoza who has been their one major bright light. Alaves meanwhile are missing Aleksandar Sedlar to a long-term injury and may opt to stick with youngster Samu Omorodion in attack after his quickfire goal at Barcelona last time out.

Predicted Alaves Lineup: Sivera – Javi Lopez, Abqar, Marin, Gorosabel – Blanco, Guevara – Rioja, Guridi, Sola – Omorodion (4-2-3-1)

Coach: Luis Garcia

Rayo VallecanoBarcelona
Win Probability20%57%

Barcelona have taken just 1 point from their last 4 meetings with Rayo and they travel to Vallecas with fresh injury issues after Gavi tore his ACL on Spain duty. It also looks like Marc-Andre ter Stegen may miss this game, potentially handing Iñaki Peña a rare start in goal. Rayo are at full strength with the exception of the suspended Alvaro Garcia.

Rafa Benitez returns to Mestalla to face his former player Ruben Baraja who’ll be in the opposing dugout. It’s another pressure game for the Celta boss whose side are desperate for a change in luck after a series of controversial decisions leading to agonising late defeats and draws. Valencia are the favourites with neither side dealing with any fresh selection headaches.

Predicted Valencia Lineup: Mamardashvili – Gaya, Gabriel, Mosquera, Correia – Pepelu, Guerra – Canos, Diego Lopez, Fran Perez – Duro (4-2-3-1)

Coach: Ruben Baraja

Rock bottom Almeria are still searching for their point under Gaizka Garitano as they travel to Getafe this Saturday. They are still missing Luis Suarez so Leo Baptistao is likely to continue to lead the line for the visitors. Getafe have Djene available again and he may operate as the defensive midfielder in a 4-3-3 system with Jaime Mata and Jose Angel Carmona competing for a start on the right flank.

Predicted Getafe Lineup: Soria – Rico, Gaston, Mitrovic, Damian Suarez – Milla, Djene, Maksimovic – Greenwood, Mayoral, Mata (4-3-3)

Atletico MadridMallorca
Win Probability70%11%

Saturday’s action concludes at the Civitas Metropolitano. Atletico Madrid’s injury problems have eased significantly but they may rest a number of their internationals who were involved in World Cup qualifying in South America this week. Rodrigo De Paul and Jose Maria Gimenez are among those who may be left on the bench. The visitors meanwhile have been rocked by an injury to key striker Vedat Muriqi, the last thing they needed after a slow start to the season.

14:00 – Villarreal vs Osasuna

VillarrealOsasuna
Win Probability43%30%

Villarreal have a new boss in the shape of Marcelino who has returned to the club seven years on from his acrimonious departure in 2016. He’s already overseen one game, which nearly ended in a humiliating Copa del Rey exit against minnows Zamora before Jose Luis Morales’ late intervention. Injuries to the likes of Alexander Sorloth and Yeremi Pino will hamper Marcelino’s team selection here for the visit of Osasuna who have doubts over Nacho Vidal and Kike Barja.

Predicted Villarreal Lineup: Jorgensen – Pedraza, Cuenca, Albiol, Foyth – Baena, Capoue, Parejo, Akhomach – Gerard Moreno, Morales (4-4-2)

Coach: Marcelino

Predicted Osasuna Lineup: Herrera – Mojica, David Garcia, Catena, Areso – Torro, Moi Gomez, Aimar Oroz – Avila, Budimir, Ruben Pena (4-3-3)

Coach: Jagoba Arrasate

16:15 – Real Sociedad vs Sevilla

Real SociedadSevilla
Win Probability54%20%

Real Sociedad contributed five players to the Spain international squad over the international break and with Mikel Oyarzabal picking up an injury, they may not be at full strength here. Umar Sadiq could get a rare start in attack while Take Kubo is likely to play having only played 76 minutes for Japan over the last fortnight. Sevilla have drawn every game so far in LaLiga under Diego Alonso and are missing Nemanja Gudelj, Suso and Erik Lamela here.

Predicted Real Sociedad Lineup: Remiro – Aihen, Le Normand, Zubelida, Traore – Merino, Zubimendi, Brais Mendez – Barrenetxea, Sadiq, Kubo (4-3-3)

Coach: Imanol Alguacil

Predicted Sevilla Lineup: Dmitrovic – Acuna, Bade, Ramos, Navas – Soumare, Sow – Lukebakio, Rakitic, Ocampos – En Nesyri (4-2-3-1)

Coach: Diego Alonso

CadizReal Madrid
Win Probability14%65%

Real Madrid are dealing with LaLiga’s most extensive injury crisis right now with seven players set to miss this game including Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga who have both been ruled out until the new year. There’s better news regarding Jude Bellingham who may be fit enough to start against lowly Cadiz who have doubts over Luis Hernandez and Fede San Emeterio.

Predicted Cadiz Lineup: Ledesma – Pires, Javi Hernandez, Fali, Iza Carcelen – Machis, Alcaraz, Escalante, Alejo – Ramos, Roger Marti (4-4-2)

Coach: Sergio

GironaAthletic Club
Win Probability45%29%

Girona and Athletic Club lock horns in a top six showdown on Monday night. Both sides are going well so it’s unlikely we’ll see many selection surprises here. The big call for Michel is whether to play the fit again David Lopez or stick with Yangel Herrera in midfield. Athletic meanwhile are still missing Yeray while Yuri’s fitness will be monitored in the days leading up to the game.

Predicted Girona Lineup: Gazzaniga – Miguel, Blind, Eric Garcia, Arnau Martinez – Aleix Garcia, David Lopez – Savio, Ivan Martin, Tsygankov – Dovbyk (4-2-3-1)
