Getafe vs Cadiz Preview
Saturday’s action in LaLiga starts at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez with a really big game at the bottom of the table. Both sides have started to pick up a few results but remain in the relegation picture at this early stage in the season.
Getafe aren’t playing great football but they are unbeaten in 4 games heading into this. It seems clear what Quique Sanchez Flores has done which is to quickly abandon what may have been a plan to try to be slightly more expansive this season. Instead he has settled on a 5-3-2 system with what is an orthodox back five much of that time which is making it tough for teams to score against them.
They’ve only let in 4 goals in their last 5 matches, a significant improvement on their early season form. At the other end, they have Enes Unal who is having another impressive campaign with the Turkish striker really building a reputation for himself now. He was their match-winner last time out as Getafe claimed a 1-0 victory at Elche on Monday.
Cadiz were also victorious in their last outing in altogether more remarkable circumstances. They scored 1st and 99th minute goals in a 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid, the best result Cadiz have achieved this season so far by some distance. Their only other win came against Real Valladolid in fortuitous fashion on matchday 6.
It’s difficult to know what to expect from them here as their last away game ended in a heavy 5-1 loss in Madrid against Rayo. They return to the capital having lost only 1 of their last 7 league games so overall they have been much tougher to play against of late, but there are still some limitations which suggests they will be in for a long season.

This is unlikely to be a classic but overall it feels like Getafe have a bit more quality in their ranks and that could be decisive. In Luis Milla they have a midfielder who can pick a pass and they also have a clinical striker in the shape of Enes Unal who may once again be the difference maker for his side.
