Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid Preview

The Sky Blues welcome Los Blancos to the Estadio de Balaídos on matchday 2 of the LaLiga season. Celta are in search of their first win of the season while Real Madrid will want to continue their winning streak.
Celta drew 2-2 in their first match against Espanyol. Iago Aspas and Gonçalo Paciência gave Celta a 2-0 lead before Edu Esposito pulled one back in the 72nd minute. Joselu netted a stoppage time penalty to share the points between the teams.
Celta finished 11th last season with 46 points, a poor year when compared to the previous one. They’ve recruited some talented players this summer with former Real Madrid youth player Oscar Rodriguez and Portuguese striker Gonçalo Paciência among their additions. They’ll be looking to improve their defence and defensive structure this season and if they can do that, it could lead to better results and a better season overall.
Real Madrid beat Almeria 2-1 last Sunday. The newly promoted team made it hard for Los Merengues and it took an Alaba freekick to ensure Real Madrid collected all 3 points. That would also prove Casemiro’s last game in a Real Madrid shirt. Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign the Brazilian and he’ll soon be revealed as a United player.
As a result, Tchouameni will now start this match and it seems most throughout this season. There’s many questions to be answered. Is he ready to start week in, week out? Are Madrid fans willing to give him time? There’s only one way to find out.

Score Prediction: Celta Vigo 2-3 Real Madrid
Both teams are dangerous offensively, but at the moment, seem to lack defensive stability. With Casemiro leaving, Real Madrid will definitely concede more chances and goals so Celta will be looking to expose their weakness. I can see this game being a “basketball match” with both teams fearlessly attacking and creating chances.
