21:00 – Athletic Club vs Celta Vigo

Athletic ClubCelta Vigo
Win Probability60%17%

Athletic Club were terrific last weekend, racing into a 3-0 lead against Villarreal away with Nico Williams on top of his game. Celta meanwhile just can’t catch a break with Rafa Benitez’s win tally still standing at just one. The home team are the firm favourites to add to the misery in Galicia.

Predicted Home Lineup: Simon – Lekue, Paredes, Vivian, De Marcos – Vesga, Ruiz de Galarreta – Nico Williams, Sancet, Iñaki Williams – Guruzeta (4-2-3-1)

Predicted Away Lineup: Guaita – Manu Sanchez, Nuñez, Starfelt, Kevin – Bamba, De La Torre, Beltran, Mingueza – Aspas, Larsen (4-4-2)

14:00 – Rayo Vallecano vs Girona

Rayo VallecanoGirona
Win Probability33%40%

Girona go from strength to strength and put in another fine attacking display to ensure they are top of LaLiga and the division’s highest scorers heading into this matchday. Rayo are tough to beat though so this should be a competitive game in Vallecas.

Predicted Home Lineup: Dimitrievski – Espino, Mumin, Lejeune, Balliu – Ciss, Valentin – Alvaro Garcia, Unai Lopez, Isi Palazon – De Tomas (4-2-3-1)

Predicted Away Lineup: Gazzaniga – Miguel, Blind, Eric Garcia, Arnau Martinez – Aleix Garcia, Herrera – Savio, Ivan Martin, Tsygankov – Dovbyk (4-3-3)

16:15 – Almeria vs Real Sociedad

AlmeriaReal Sociedad
Win Probability21%55%

Almeria’s season is going from bad to worse with no sign so far that recently appointed Gaizka Garitano has any real answers that can stop them sliding towards the Segunda Division. Real Sociedad, who secured a place in the Last 16 of the Champions League in midweek, will fancy this but they’ll have to cope without the suspended Brais Mendez and Igor Zubeldia.

Predicted Home Lineup: Maximiano – Akieme, Edgar, Chumi, Mendes – Baba, Lopy – Embarba, Robertone, Ramazani – Baptistao (4-2-3-1)

Predicted Away Lineup: Remiro – Aihen, Le Normand, Pacheco, Elustondo – Merino, Zubimendi, Zakharyan – Oyarzabal, Sadiq, Kubo (4-3-3)

18:30 – Osasuna vs Las Palmas

OsasunaLas Palmas
Win Probability49%23%

Las Palmas stunned Atletico Madrid last time out and they’re enjoying a really bright return to LaLiga. They’re still not creating a great deal so we can perhaps expect their current bubble to burst at some point but they keep the ball so well and will be awkward opponents for a slightly out of sorts Osasuna.

Predicted Home Lineup: Herrera – Mojica, David Garcia, Catena, Areso – Torro, Moi Gomez, Aimar Oroz – Avila, Budimir, Ruben Pena (4-3-3)

Predicted Away Lineup: Valles – Cardona, Marmol, Saul Coco, Alex Suarez – Kirian Rodriguez, Perrone, Munoz – Moleiro, Munir, Marvin (4-3-3)

18:30 – Granada vs Getafe

GranadaGetafe
Win Probability38%32%

This is a big game for Granada boss Paco Lopez who is among the coaches in LaLiga who’ll be concerned that the international break could spark a change. He’s up against Jose Bordalas who is doing a solid job back at Getafe for a second spell. The fit again Luis Milla could return to the starting eleven for the visitors here against his old team with fellow midfielder Mauro Arambarri potentially missing the rest of the season due to injury.

Predicted Home Lineup: Ferreira – Neva, Miquel, Torrente, Ricard – Alvaro Fernandez, Gumbau, Villar, Bryan Zaragoza – Uzuni, Boye (4-4-2)

Predicted Away Lineup: Soria – Rico, Gaston, Alderete, Damian Suarez – Greenwood, Milla, Maksimovic, Carmona – Mayoral, Mata (4-4-2)

21:00 – Real Madrid vs Valencia

Real MadridValencia
Win Probability73%10%

Real Madrid and Valencia meet for the first time since a controversial clash in May where Vinicius Junior was subjected to racist abuse and then sent off. Andriy Lunin looks likely to start in goal for Los Blancos with Kepa carrying a knock while Valencia will be missing Selim Amallah who has picked up a fresh injury.

Predicted Home Lineup: Lunin – Mendy, Alaba, Nacho, Carvajal – Kroos, Camavinga, Valverde – Bellingham – Vini Junior, Rodrygo (4-3-1-2)

Predicted Away Lineup: Mamardashvili – Gaya, Gabriel, Mosquera, Correia – Pepelu, Guerra – Fran Perez, Diego Lopez, Foulquier – Duro (4-2-3-1)

Sunday 12th November 2023

16:15 – Barcelona vs Alaves

BarcelonaAlaves
Win Probability77%8%

Barcelona have what should be a very winnable home game against Alaves. Their injuries are clearing by the week but they’ll be missing Gavi to suspension here and did lose in the Champions League in midweek against Shakhtar Donetsk. Alaves meanwhile have been rocked by an injury to centre-back Aleksandar Sedlar who could miss the rest of the season.

Predicted Home Lineup: Ter Stegen – Balde, Inigo Martinez, Kounde, Cancelo – Gundogan, Fermin, Pedri – Felix, Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal (4-3-3)

Predicted Away Lineup: Sivera – Duarte, Abqar, Marin, Gorosabel – Blanco, Guevara – Rioja, Guridi, Sola – Omorodion (4-2-3-1)

18:30 – Sevilla vs Real Betis

SevillaReal Betis
Win Probability46%27%

Derby day in Seville usually brings fireworks on and off the pitch and this should be a really competitive one. Sevilla are the favourites but Betis are again enjoying the better season in LaLiga. Both teams have goalkeeper issues with Orjan Nyland out for Sevilla while Betis are without Rui Silva and have a doubt over Claudio Bravo with 3rd choice keeper Francisco Vieites on standby.

Predicted Home Lineup: Dmitrovic – Acuna, Bade, Gudelj, Navas – Fernando, Sow – Lukebakio, Rakitic, Ocampos – En Nesyri (4-2-3-1)

Predicted Away Lineup: Bravo – Miranda, Riad, Pezzella, Bellerin – Guido Rodriguez, Roca – Ayoze Perez, Isco, Assane – Willian Jose (4-2-3-1)

21:00 – Atletico Madrid vs Villarreal

Atletico MadridVillarreal
Win Probability72%11%

Atleti bounced back from a shock league defeat by thumping Celtic 6-0 in the Champions League with Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata still firing on all cylinders. They’re hoping to have Jose Maria Gimenez in their starting lineup here which could ease some of their defensive issues against a struggling Villarreal side who rotated heavily in the Europa League on Thursday.

Predicted Home Lineup: Oblak – Hermoso, Gimenez, Savic – Lino, De Paul, Koke, Saul, Molina – Griezmann, Morata (3-5-2)

Predicted Away Lineup: Jorgensen – Alberto Moreno, Mandi, Albiol, Altimira – Capoue, Parejo – Baena, Gerard Moreno, Pino – Sorloth (4-2-3-1)

Mallorca vs Cadiz, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been moved to Wednesday November 29th.

Eric Garcia and Vinicius Junior continue to look like good cap picks so we’ve gone with them again this week with L15 averages that are sure to rise in strong sides.

Oihan Sancet is our midfield pick for Athletic who host struggling Celta while selection issues mean Nacho looks a certain starter for Real Madrid and is a great cap pick with a very low average of 35.

In goal, we’re going with Andre Ferreira whose low average makes him an appealing choice against a relatively low scoring Getafe side.

Full Team Stack: Ter Stegen (58) – Cancelo (65) – Pedri (60) – Lewandowski (62) – Felix (61)

Barcelona at home to newly promoted Alaves is the obvious way to go in terms of a full team stack. The only issue is that there are rotation risks with Xavi’s squad now nearing full fitness, which may make picking five starters tricky.

Jules Kounde and Ilkay Gundogan are also strong alternative options aside from the five players we’ve opted for and may be slightly safer picks than Pedri who may not complete the 90 minutes given his recent injury issues.
