Notes: Game 2 of a 4 game ban for Pastore. Yunus Musah back from a ban for Valencia. Cillessen is back in training and could be in the squad this weekend but Valencia may for now opt to stick with Mamardashvili who has been impressive in goal in his absence.

Notes: Espanyol keeper Diego Lopez picked up an injury last weekend which forced him off, but is aiming to be fit this Sunday. 20 year old Joan García on standby if not, although he was at fault for a goal last weekend after replacing Lopez.
Cadiz vs Villarreal

Notes: Ivan Alejo is available following a ban for Cadiz. Villarreal were surprise 3-0 winners in Turin in the UCL in midweek and Gerard Moreno featured in that game off the bench, scoring the opener on his return from injury. He could start here, although it’s unclear if he will be risked for 90 minutes.
Celta Vigo vs Real Betis

Notes: Hugo Mallo is back from a ban for Celta. Betis in UEL action on Thursday night so we should know more about their injury situation after that, but rotation likely at the weekend following their trip to Frankfurt.
Sevilla vs Real Sociedad

Notes: Mikel Oyarzabal’s season is over after he suffered a serious ACL injury this week. We may not see him again until well into the 2022/23 campaign. They should have Mikel Merino and David Silva available though this weekend. Sevilla’s XI will depend on what happens in the UEL against West Ham on Thursday night with some rotation likely, although they are limited on options due to injuries.
Real Madrid vs Barcelona

Notes: Nacho likely to get a start for Madrid in Mendy’s absence. Karim Benzema is viewed as a major doubt but hasn’t been ruled out totally at the time of writing. Barcelona in UEL action on Thursday night so fresh developments possible for them after that.
