Huesca vs Athletic Club Preview
Huesca’s battle for survival will take another twist for the better or worse on Wednesday as the host Athletic Club at El Alcoraz. They find themselves in the bottom three heading into this game but a victory would make a world of difference to their chances of beating the drop.
4 defeats from their last 5 matches have not helped matters but their rivals have not really made them pay and they are still very much in with a fighting chance. Victory over Basque opposition in the shape of Real Sociedad in their most recent home game ought to at least breed some confidence heading into this. Athletic’s hopes of European qualification now look very slim indeed despite a good run of recent results.
