Cadiz vs Real Madrid Preview

Wednesday’s action in LaLiga sees the first match since the announcement involving one of the Spanish clubs that signed up for the Super League. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been one of the driving forces behind the hugely controversial plan and it’ll be interesting to see if we see any form of protest from Cadiz who are among the other 17 clubs to have opposed it.
The match itself is one the Cadiz players will be relishing. They’ve done brilliantly against the big clubs this season, already taking 4 points off Barcelona while they are hoping to complete a league double over Real Madrid here having won the reverse fixture at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano earlier in the campaign.
Cadiz have 36 points on the board, and that will most likely be enough to keep them in the league although they would dearly love another victory to make sure. They are in good form heading into this, with just 1 defeat from their last 6 matches and significantly they’ve found a way to tighten up defensively of late, with just 1 goal conceded in their last 3 league matches.
This might not be a bad time to be up against Real Madrid either. Los Blancos have been soldiering on in the face of an injury crisis and a packed schedule and Zinedine Zidane ultimately came to the conclusion that he simply had to rest some players at Getafe at the weekend. The result was that Real Madrid struggled badly in the game, and were fortunate to come away with a point with Thibaut Courtois needed to pull off some fine saves.
They should be in a position to name a stronger eleven here with some players edging closer to fitness although they continue to have doubts over some players. With the likes of Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and Casemiro back, they ought to put in a much stronger performance at least as they bid to keep on the tails of leaders Atletico Madrid.

Cadiz vs Real Madrid Predictions
Score Prediction: Cadiz 1-1 Real Madrid
Cadiz have proven themselves to be a match for the top clubs this season and Real Madrid won’t have this all their own way. Zinedine Zidane will need to learn from the mistakes of the reverse fixture but even if they can do that, Cadiz are still capable of frustrating what still feels like a tired Real Madrid side and they are capable of denting their title defence again.
