Celta Vigo vs Huesca Preview

Two sides from opposite ends of northern Spain clash on Wednesday as Celta Vigo look to continue their recent resurgence against Huesca. This has the potential to be one of the games of the midweek fixture list in LaLiga with both teams hungry to play positive football.
That has certainly been the case for Celta so far under Chacho Coudet. He has adopted what is essentially a 4-1-3-2 formation with plenty of players advanced enough to influence things in the final third, Celta have scored 14 goals in their 6 games so far under the Argentinean boss, winning 4 of them.
Predictably, Iago Aspas has continued to be their chief instigator but the likes of Denis Suarez, Brais Mendez and Nolito have all put in eye-catching performances which suggest this Celta side may finally be starting to click. At the very least, they should comfortably better their final finishing position of 17th in each of the last two seasons.
Huesca would certainly settle for 17th were it offered to them right now. They’ve found a bit of inspiration in the shape of Javier Ontiveros in recent weeks. The young Spaniard scored a screamer as Huesca finally claimed their first victory of the season against Alaves earlier this month and he was on target from the penalty spot as they drew against Levante last time out.
Despite that first win and some encouraging displays, Huesca really do need to start putting points on the board otherwise they risk leaving themselves with too much to do in the second half of this season. They’ve drawn 5 of their 8 away games but did slip to a late defeat in Bilbao in their most recent road fixture.

Celta Vigo vs Huesca Predictions
Score Prediction: Celta 4-2 Huesca
This could be an eye-catching game between two teams who are capable of playing good football but at times showcase defensive flaws. Celta are bang in form and they have a bit more quality in the final third of the pitch which should deliver a 5th league victory for the Galicians since the change in coach but Huesca ought to have some joy going forward too.
