We are only three weeks off the start of the new LaLiga season now and we will finally know who the 20th participant will be this Sunday night or potentially Monday morning in Girona. The Uruguayan has netted 31 times this season but was effectively dealt with by a strong Elche back-line in the 1st Leg and the visitors will set their stall out to deny him any shred of space again here.

This will be a really tense, nervy occasion for everyone involved with the stakes so high. While they failed to win, Elche might just have been the more content side after Thursday’s game with that clean sheet potentially key. If they score first, you’d back a solid Elche defensive unit to see this out, however on a better pitch and on a ground where they have been so strong, Girona might just have the edge.
