It has not exactly been the season that the visitors had planned, having struggled to find a certain level of consistency, seeing themselves sat down in 17th place as they head over to the Estadio Municipal de Anduva.
A defeat to Mirandes could see Fernando Vazquez’ side find themselves in real trouble again as just two points separate them and 19th placed Lugo. Just one win in their last four outings will see them calling on all the experience of Sabi Merino, Alex Bergantinos and keeper Dani Jimenez to help them avoid the nightmare prospect of relegation to the Segunda B.
Whilst the Riazor outfit have won just once in their last four outings, they will take comfort that their overall form has improved since the restart, losing just twice, but that being said, conceding goals is a problem again for Depor having kept just one clean sheet in 8 games.
For Mirandes, the season has been largely a good one with moderately consistent form, seeing themselves sat mid-table and with the potential to push on next season. Andoni Iraola’s side have struggled since the restart though, picking up just one win in their last seven games since beating Huesca back in the middle of June.
A result against Depor could see them move slightly higher than mid-table and it will be Iraola’s plans to do just that as he turns his attention to next term.
This match will be one of the LaLiga SmartBank’s games to watch on Friday with a huge amount riding on it for Depor as the relegation battle hots up with just two games to play.

Score Prediction: 1-1 Draw
A stalemate could be the result of this one with the home side now too far back to challenge the play-offs and Depor looking to scrap their way out of a relegation battle.
Whilst the visitors have lots more experience in their ranks, it hasn’t been good enough overall this season from Depor and things will need to be addressed moving into the 2020/21 campaign, even if they do manage to narrowly avoid the drop.
