Eibar’s priority will be putting more distance between themselves and the bottom three. It has been a challenging season for José Luis Mendilibar in many respects but he does appear to have found more solutions to his side’s struggles in recent weeks. Defensively they’ve been far better in recent weeks with just 1 goal conceded in their last 5 league outings, in sharp contrast to earlier in the season when they were leaking goals all over the place.
