These are worrying times for Leganes who find themselves at the bottom of La Liga as the only side yet to record a victory in the 2019/20 season. This in theory is a good chance for them to break their duck. They take on a Levante side who are in mid-table but head into this game having failed to win any of their last 4 games.

Leganes were narrow victors in this fixture last season and they desperately need to rediscover that knack they used to have for winning tight games at Butarque. They couldn’t force a winner in a 1-1 draw with Athletic in their most recent home game and they followed that up with a narrow defeat at Granada. They are already 12 points behind the newly promoted side, who are one of the teams they’d certainly have backed themselves to finish above this term.

Levante are another who they will see as on their level or thereabouts. Paco Lopez’s side come into this one following a 1-1 draw with Osasuna. That was their 8th home point of the season but they are yet to avoid defeat on their travels. They went close to staging a dramatic comeback at the Bernabeu a few weeks back but they return to the Spanish capital this weekend having lost 6 of their last 7 road games in the Spanish top flight.
