Levante vs Real Valladolid predictions, H2H and match preview for this Saturday’s game in La Liga. Read on for analysis and predicted line-ups as the visitors aim to build on an impressive start to the campaign.
Levante vs Real Valladolid Preview
This is an early season clash between two sides who might be expected to struggle. However both sides will have reason to be pretty positive two games in. Valladolid have defied the odds to take 4 points from 2 tough road games while Levante got their season up and running with a 2-1 victory over local rivals Villarreal last weekend.
Levante were behind in that game before two quick-fire penalties from Roger Marti turned the game around to give Paco Lopez’s side an early season boost. They are still clearly a work in progress to some extent with competition for places across the pitch and it may take the Levante boss a while to figure out just what his best approach is moving forwards. The early signs at least suggest they may be a bit more solid defensively this season, a major flaw for them last term.
The underdog tag seems to suit Valladolid just fine meanwhile. With their opening two games away to Real Betis and Real Madrid, many would have expected them to come into this game bottom of the league and pointless. Instead they have 4 points on the board already thanks to a couple of decisive late goals, the latest of which came at the Bernabeu last weekend as Sergi Guardiola fired home to seal a point.
This is a match which on paper they have a better chance of getting a result from. Despite that Sergio is likely to stick with the tried and trusted formula and if they can avoid defeat again, Valladolid will be delighted to be still unbeaten following an away triple header to get the season going.

Levante vs Real Valladolid Predictions
Score Prediction: 1-1 Draw
This is a tough game to call. Levante are the favourites with home advantage but it wasn’t a totally convincing victory for them last weekend. Valladolid still seem to have that knack of defending as a team and nicking goals when they need them and they look capable of putting another point on the board here.
